About Dr. Eliel Nataki, MD

With his office located in McPherson Medical Plaza, Dr. Eliel Nataki has helped many Laredo, Texas residents find relief from pain or injuries. Dr. Nataki is respected by both his peers and patients as a pain medicine anesthesiologist with a long history of serving the residents of Laredo.

After earning his medical degree, Dr. Nataki included several clinical training programs, including:


  • A postgraduate degree in pain medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics
  • A general surgery residency at Harlem Hospital Center
  • An anesthesiology residency at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn


Thanks to his extensive training, Dr. Nataki is able to offer Laredo residents a variety of services and treatments at Pain Consultant of Texas. It has helped people manage back, neck and joint pain and has also helped people with pain caused by diabetes, arthritis and cancer.

Dr. Gloria Koroma

As a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Koroma’s philosophy of care is to provide the utmost evidence-based care to patients with compassion and understanding of their needs. She has a constant desire to seek learning opportunities in order to acquire up-to-date treatment that benefit patients suffering from chronic pain. Dr. Koroma is married with two grown up children; she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.

  • B.S. in Nursing at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) (2002-2007)

  • Master of Nursing at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi (2009-2012)
  • License to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama, Birmingham
    (Her scholarly project focused on The Evaluation of Syncope in Pediatric Population: a guide for primary care providers.)
